9.1 Cleaning the wire guide

Unscrew the cable assembly
on the machine side and bring it into a stretched position.

Unscrew nut
and pull out liner or PA liner and replace it, if necessary.

Clean wire conduit
from both sides with compressed air.

Slide adjusted liner or PA liner into wire feed hose
and secure with nut

Connect cable assembly on the machine side with wire feed unit

Remove gas nozzle

Remove welding spatter and spray gas nozzle
and contact tip
with the
ABICOR BINZEL
antispatter agent.

Check wearing parts for visible damage and replace them, if required.
NOTICE
• Remove any adhering weld spatter.
• Ensure that all threaded fittings are tight.
WARNING
Risk of injury
Serious injuries may be caused by parts swirling around.
• When cleaning the wire guide with compressed air, wear suitable protective clothing, in
particular safety goggles.
NOTICE
• Clean the gas nozzle interior regularly to remove weld spatter and spray it with original
ABICOR BINZEL
anti-spatter fluid.
• Check the wear parts for visible damage and replace defective parts.
