6 Commissioning MT/AUT/AUT RAB
6.2.1 Liner
To be used for steel wires
.
1 Stretch out the cable assembly (9) .
2 Unscrew gas nozzle (10) and contact tip (11) from torch neck (2) .
3 Unscrew nut (6) from central plug (4) .
4 Slide liner (8) through the wire conduit (3) up to the retaining nipple (7) .
5 Screw down nut (6) by hand.
6 Cut off the excess length of the liner (8) flush with the torch neck (2) or the tip adaptor (1) .
7 Unscrew nut (6) and pull out liner (8) .
8 Sharpen the liner beginning to an angle of approx. 40° and debur the edge.
9 Slide sharpened liner (8) through the wire conduit (3) up to the retaining nipple (7) .
10 Screw down nut (6) and tighten with multiple wrench (5) .
11 Screw in contact tip (11) and attach gas nozzle (10) .
