The purpose and specific functions of each layout part will be described below.

4.4.1 Menu Bar

The

Menu Bar

presents the main menu items to the user.

4.4.2 Tool Bar

The

Tool Bar

presents the user with the most commonly used view options, and

source location coordinates.

4.4.3 Record View

The

Record View

shows all traces vertically. A time scale is displayed on the left side.

This timescale adjusts according to sample interval and view options. Tic lines across
the screen (Figure 16) can be enabled in the View options dialog (see chapter 4.6.13).
