Menu
Activating the local bus is required to start communication between the module and Ekip Touch
and is available in the
Settings menu
(page 114).
If the module is detected correctly by Ekip Touch two areas are activated:

configurations
From the service connector (via Ekip Connect) or with a system bus communication, it is possible
to change the operating configuration from slave to master, to integrate the module into an
interactive data exchange network (see description of
Ekip Com Hub
, page156).
IMPORTANT:
In Master configuration, the module does not allow data to be exchanged as
in normal Slave mode
the presence of several masters on the same network can cause malfunctions
Remote
information
From the service connector (via Ekip Connect) or with a system bus communication, additional
information is available on the version and the status of the module: HW and Boot version, CRC
status (correctness of SW in the module).
