6.6. Electrical installation instruction of MV connection

Typical the MV connections are made with Pfisterer® PLUG size P3 panel sockets. Pfisterer® 
PLUG connectors size P3 are required to establish connection. Different types of plugs are 
available and described in section 6.6.1, 

Types of Pfisterer® PLUG connectors

, page 77.

The Pfisterer® PLUG size P3 has an integrated code system. Only connectors and sockets 
with the same code fit together. The rotation angle is defined by the position of the panel 
socket flange.

The coding for all connections is AF01. This code is part of the plug part number.

IMPORTANT!

The Pfisterer® PLUG connectors that are described in this section are not part 

of supply.

For a correct order of Pfisterer® PLUG connectors all of the following information is 
necessary to obtain the right type:

– Type of connector, eg, straight, P3SC, no. 305 015

– Coding: AF01

– Cable cross section, eg, 240 mm

– Outer diameter of inner mantle, eg, 28 mm
