Function
•
The counter adds increments when a value changes from 0 to 1 (rising edge).
•
The counter counts upward from 0 to an adjustable threshold. If it reaches this threshold, the counter
stops and the
Overflow output receives a value of 1 (true) on the next rising edge.
•
Reset input:
o
Value 0: The counter runs upwards.
o
Value 1: Resets the counter to 0 and disables it. The output value is 0.
•
Threshold input:
o
Defines the counter threshold.
o
Can only be edited if the Output value is linked.
Bus voltage failure, download and restart
The counter value is saved. The output is restored on restart. The output is updated the first time the
counter value changes after restart.
Use cases
•
Telegram counter: counts the number of telegrams received ( telegram received used on the KNX
input).
•
Pulse counter for energy values: calculates energy consumption.
•
Event counter: an alarm is triggered if three events occur within a minute.
