IP20 Version of System Housing:

Step Action

Connect the wiring to the connector housing according to the
connection diagrams.

Connect the connector housings to the terminal strips.

Wiring Connection

Version of System Housing with connection box:

Step Action

Run the cables through the connection box openings.
M20: Remove the plug from the insert; the ring remains in place as a

gasket and strain relief.

M32: Remove the plugs from the threaded connections. Press the

insert from the accessory kit over the cable; seal off the free
opening with the pin from the accessory kit.

Connect the wiring to the connector housings according to the
connection diagrams.

Connect the connector housings to the terminal strips.

Mark the cables or the connector housings of the I/O modules so that their
respective relationship to the I/O modules is clear.
