Key List Version
When the content of the feature
key list is changed (a user makes
changes to the feature keys on the
handset), the value of the "key list
version:" parameter must be
incremented by one. Version
numbers can range from 1 to 254.
After reaching 254, the numbers
must begin from 1 again.
The 480i CT base compares this
version number with the version
number in the cordless handset. If
there is a difference, the base
uploads the new list to the cordless
handset.
Feature Key Labels
The feature key labels allow you to
enter a label for the key that
displays in a specific language
(English, French, Spanish).
Feature Key Controls
The feature key controls allows you
to set a control on the feature key.
Specific control values include:
1 Allows the key to be
configurable by the user
through the IP phone UI and the
Aastra Web UI.
2 Prevents the key from being
modified by the user from the IP
phone UI and the Aastra Web
UI. Key is locked.
4 Hides the key from being
displayed in the Feature Keys
List on the handset.
6 Locks and hides the key.
Prevents the key from being
displayed in the Features Keys
List on the handset, and
prevents the user from
modifying the key from the IP
phone UI and the Aastra Web
UI.
Feature Key Events
The event feature key settings are
for handset-specific events. Events
can be local to the handset (i.e.,
Directory, Caller’s List , intercom,
etc.) or can be an event that is sent
to the phone’s base for further
processing.
When the "Feature key N hs
event" is configured as a base
event, the base set processes the
value of this parameter in
conjunction with the value
confgured for the "Feature key N
base event". Valid values for
events not local to the handset are
7 to 23, generic handset events.
Valid values for events local to the
handset are:
58 - Menu (Options)
59 - Feature Key
60 - Redial
61 - Directory
62 - Callers' list
63 - Services
86 - Icon
Note: If you are using values within the
7 to 23 range, you can use the
value ONLY once.
The "Feature key N base event"
parameter is a corresponding
action to perform on the base set
when the " Feature key N hs event"
parameter is set to any value
between 7 and 23 (generic handset
events). Valid values are:
