From the Aastra Web UI:
1 Click on Advanced
Settings->Network.
2 In the "VLAN id" field, enter a
VLAN ID from 0 to 4094.
3 Click to save your
changes.
4 Click on Operation->Reset.
5 In the "Restart Phone" field
click to restart the IP
phone.
Configuring Quality
of Service (QoS)
(optional)
You can configure the QoS using
the IP phone UI or the Aastra Web
UI. Port 0 is the Ethernet connected
to the network. Port 1 is the
Ethernet used for passthrough to a
PC (port 1 is not available on
9112i). SMP (Serial Management
Port) is the Internal Ethernet of the
IP phone.
From the IP phone:
1 Press
w
on the phone to
enter the Options List.
2 Select Network.
3 Select QoS Priority.
4 Select Port 0 Priority, Port 1 Pri-
ority, or Port SMP Priority.
5 Enter a priority number from 0
to 7.
6 Press Done to save the changes.
From the Aastra Web UI:
1 Click on Advanced
Settings->Network.
2 In the "QoS Port 0 Priority",
"QoS Port 1 Priority", or the
"QoS Port SMP Priority" fields,
enter a Qos priority code from 0
to 7.
3 Click to save your
changes.
Network Time Servers
Network Time Protocol (NTP) is a
protocol that the IP phone uses to
synchronize the phone clock time
with a computer (configuration
server) in the network.
To use NTP, you must enable it
using the Aastra Web UI or the
configuration files. You can specify
up to 3 time servers in your
network.
