During the call

2nd method:

The on-hold function can be activated on a programmable key. 

For more detailed information on how to program the on-hold 

function, refer to the following chapter: “On-hold function”, 

page 52.

1 - Press the programmed on-hold key. The other party is put on 
       hold.

2 - To resume your call, press the 

Recover

 Fox key.

Placing the party on hold and resuming the call on another phone

The call is set up with a party and you want to continue the conversation on another phone 
located in another office.

•  Press the 

Park

 Fox key.

-> The phone returns to standby. The other party is put on hold.

• 

On the second terminal

 (Aastra 53xxip range):

1 -  Pick up the handset.

2 - Press the 

Pickup

 Fox key.

3 - Press the 

Unpark

 Fox key.

4 -  Enter the number of the phone on which you have selected 

the Parking function.

-> The communication with your contact is resumed.

Note: 

If the external call on hold is not resumed within a given 

time, it is routed to the operator. An internal call will be released.

For associated terminals, this function can also be used to make 
calls on another terminal in the association
