Remove Fan and Plenum
To avoid electrical shocks, unplug projector
power cord before performing any maintenance
to electrical components.
To avoid burns to fingers, allow projector lamp
and internal projector components to cool off prior
to lamp removal or disassembly.
Remove the lens cover and top cover.
1.
Disconnect the fan connector.
2.
Remove two (2) screws securing the temperature
sensor.
3.
Remove the screws for the fan/plenum:
A. To remove the lamp cooling fan only: Remove
the screws shown as 3A [two (2) per side].
B. To remove the fan plenum: Remove the fan
screws shown as 3A, and the plenum screws,
shown as 3B [two (2) per side].
4.
Slide the assembly back and lift up to remove.
5.
Reassemble in reverse order.
