  SLA 750 SERIES PROCEDURES

9.1  Recoater Installation and Removal

RECOATER INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
The recoater is on a rail system inside the print chamber, above the material vat. The application process combines the elevator

and recoater movements to apply material to the top of the part so that the next layer can be printed. The recoater, which

contacts the material, can be removed from the SLA 750. The recoater should be kept with the vat so that when the material is

changed, the recoater remains with the material that it has been in contact with.

Prerequisites
To avoid damage to the recoater cover during installation and removal, remove the (2) side belt drive covers from the left and

right side of chamber by lifting up and away.

Removing the Recoater

1. From the UI, tap on Elevator & Recoater near the bottom tray.
2. Select Move to Home icon under the Recoater section.
3. Once recoater has moved to the home position, disable the interlocks to open front door by tapping the Door slider icon.
