PPTP
VPN
The
Point
‐
to
‐
Point
Tunneling
Protocol
(PPTP)
uses
a
control
channel
over
TCP
and
a
GRE
tunnel
operating
to
encapsulate
PPP
packets.

intended
use

protocol

provide
security
levels
and
remote
access
levels
comparable
with
typical
VPN
products.
