2.2.2. Carrying persons/passengers
• A passenger is only allowed to be carried if there is a proper passen-
ger’s seat.
• Any further carrying of persons is not allowed.
2.2.3. Driving
The handling of the vehicle is affected, e.g., by the surface and by the at-
tachments. For this reason the driving style is to be adapted to the related
terrain, ground and weather conditions.
• Pay attention to permissible axle load and total weight!
• Caution is required on turning on an incline and with the grain tank full
- risk of tipping!
• Caution on driving over furrows - risk of tipping!
• It is not allowed to drive on public roads with the grain tank full!
• Never leave the driver’s cab while driving!
2.2.4. Leaving the combine
1. Fully lower attachments (header, reel and others)!
2. Secure combine against rolling away on leaving! (Parking brake,
wheel chocks)
3. Switch off engine, remove ignition key and lock cab if necessary.
4. Switch off main battery switch.
5. Never leave combine unsupervised as long as the engine is still run-
ning!
6. Wait unit all attachments are stationary!
2.2.5. Attachments
• Only work under raised parts of the machine (e.g.
header, reel) if they are secured against dropping.
• Never stand between combine and attachments with-
out first securing the combine against rolling away!
(Parking brake, wheel chocks)
• Knife bar, cross feeding auger, reel, header and the
like cannot be completely protected by means of de-
sign measures due to their function. An increased safe
distance is to be maintained!
• Never reach into rotating augers!
• Feeding augers in the grain tank cannot be adequate-
ly protected due to their function. Never reach into or
climb into the grain tank with the engine running.
• Only take samples and clear blockages using suitable
tools (e.g. ram or scoop)
• Attachments can run-on after switching off. Remain at
a safe distance until the units are stationary.
