Actuating the front derailleur 

Proceed as follows to operate your front derailleur with the left-hand shift levers: 

 

 

-

 

Pedal forwards. 

-

 

Pull the upper lever (A) towards you with your index finger to shift to a larger sprocket, i.e. to 
a higher gear. 

-

 

Press the lower lever (B) forwards with your thumb to shift to a smaller sprocket, i.e. to a 
lower gear.
