Important note on electrical attachments

All electrical attachments on your bicycle have protection class IP 54. This protection class means:

Protected against the penetration of solid foreign bodies with a diameter ≥ 1.0 mm.

Protected against water jets (nozzle) from any angle (splash-proof).

The protection class does not prevent the ingress of water if the bicycle is left in pouring rain for sev-
eral hours. The protection class also does not prevent the penetration of moisture by condensing wa-
ter.

Therefore, do not leave your bicycle outdoors in pouring rain or permanently at night!
