Cleaning & Maintenance
The table below describes the types and frequencies of maintenance required and the personnel
required to carry out the maintenance. Following these procedures ensures optimum performance
of the MagPurix 24 EVO System.
Important:
If liquid is spilled on the MagPurix 24 EVO System worktables, wipe it away as soon as
the run has finished, using a soft cloth and de-ionized water, followed by 75% Ethanol. Do not allow
the liquid to dry.

Clean sample tray, M module, piston, and holder lid
with
a soft cloth and
75% ethanol.
Clean the heating module with a soft paper tissue or soft
cloth, and use a cotton swab to remove any potential
buffer residue from the hold of the heating module.
Run disinfection by turning on the UV lamp (default time
is 30 min.).
Dispose of the waste, f
ollowing the laboratory guidelines
or the law regarding infectious waste.

cloth, soaked with 0.5% sodium hypochlorite solution or

ethanol.
Check SD card memory space.
Clean the instrument body by removing dust and specks
gently with a dry, soft cloth. If the outside of the
MagPurix 24 EVO System is heavily soiled, or if infectious
material is adhered to the outside of the MagPurix 24
EVO System, wipe with a soft paper tissue, soaked with
0.5% sodium hypochlorite solution or
75%
ethanol.
