Gateway Mode

Gateway Mode 

In the case of Gateway Mode = ON, MODBUS messages from the BUS2 interface are 
transmitted to BUS1 if the MODBUS address is not identical to the alarm address.
In the case of Gateway Mode = OFF, there is no transmission. The setting must be 
selected if additional devices are connected to BUS2 with the same addresses as to 
BUS1.

8.3.2

Temperature sensor add-on modules type ZTG8-L 

According to the number of ZTG8-L (

  ALARMcon Setup), up to 4 Installation menus ZTG8-L no. 1 

–

 

4 appear.

The cot assignments of the sensor inputs can be made in these menus. Also it is possible to check 
the measured temperature and adjust the sensor for every sensor input.

Two sensors can be used per cot to increase the operational reliability. The temperature values are 
constantly compared and checked for plausibility.
If the difference between the two measured temperatures exceeds the value set in the ALARMcon 
Setup, an alarm message is output.

•

With two sensors connected to the ZTG8-L in the stall, the two measured values are compared, the 
average formed and displayed in the cot menu.

•

When using a sensor of the ZTG8-L and a sensor of the ventilation computer per cot, the sensor 
value of the ventilation computer is displayed in the cot menu and compared with the measured 
value of the sensor on the ZTG8-L.

ZTG8-L no. 1 are assigned the stalls 1...8

ZTG8-L no. 2 are assigned the stalls 9...16

ZTG8-L no. 3 are assigned the stalls 17...24

ZTG8-L no. 4 are assigned the stalls 25...32
