Assembly
a) Mounting of the Nozzle Holders
In order to be able to mount the nozzles to the auger tube, two bore holes with
approximately 20 mm Ø must be drilled at the auger tube directly following the intake
funnel (see Page
–9-).
Before the nozzle mounting plates are fastened using four tightening straps, they
must be screw-connected with the nozzle holder.
Beforehand, the ball valve filters and the required nozzle combination must be
inserted.
After having drilled the bores (see diagram Page
–9-) at the auger tube, the nozzle
holder is braced with two nozzle mounting plates and the rubber sealing plates using
four straps and the turnbuckles to the auger tube (see Diagram 1).
The tightening straps should be placed directly adjacent to the hexagon nut of the
nozzle mounting plate as displayed in the diagram (see Diagram 1).
The four tightening straps, which are included in the delivery scope, are dimensioned
in length to be suited to fit for a tube diameter of 250 mm (see Page 41 Tensioning
Strap Sizes).
