The ship goes around the centre of rotation.
COMBINED MOVEMENTS
Push joystick first, then rotate the knob in the desired directions.
•
For example: AHEAD MOVEMENT AND RIGHT TURN
•
For example: ASTEARN MOVEMENT AND LEFT TURN
Pushing the joystick sideways, the boat moves sideways.
In case the boat doesn't move parallely, you can correct this move-
ment by rotating the knob in the direction you want to correct.
While manoeuvring with the joystick, the control lever must stay in
neutral position. If in manoeuvring mode you unvoluntarly put the lever
in Forward or in Reverse, this doesn't have any effect and the joystick
is still active and working.
When you release the joystick control (by pushing the joystick button)
the boat will not still perform any action. In fact, for your safety, the
diesel engine will remain at idle speed and the transmission in neutral.
To regain control of the lever you have to put the control lever in the
neutral position. Only after that the system will allow you to engage
the transmission and raise the engine rpm by moving the control lever.
