SMOKE AND FIRE (cntd)
An indication of an electrical fire is usually the odor of
burning insulation and / or smoke.
If inflight engine fire is present and leads into a
forced landing, the chance of surviving this event are
rather small after the first two minutes. Get quick
onto the ground, use the steep approach ability of
this plane. Use the short landing abilities of this
plane to perform this task.
The EFIS, EMS and GPS will continue to run through
their internal battery, if the MASTER SWITCH is
turned OFF.
You must confirm this on the unit itself. Internal
battery power will last for 30min (45min typically).
Maybe switch on only when needed.
