LANDING EMERGENCIES (cntd)
ZERO FLAPS LANDING
Landing with zero flaps is easily accomplished, provided engine power is
available
Use
60 MPH IAS
as approach target speed, aim for a flatter approach
using more power and expect a much higher deck angle and a longer
ground roll
LANDING WITH A FLAT TIRE
Expect the aircraft to
swing towards the flat tire
during landing. Keep
wings banked in order to lower the flat tire as late as possible.
At touch down, maintain directional control with rudder and brakes.
