to  “see”  each  other  in  order  for  the  remote  control

system to work properly.

14

The  vacuum  cleaner  is  equipped  with  an  accessory

compartment.  To  open  the  compartment  lift  the  vacuum

cleaner  handle  and  pull  the  accessory  compartment  cover

(6)

 upwards.

15

The  accessories  may  be  attached  to  the  accessory

holder  in  the  suction  hose  handle.  This  way  they  will  be

available for use at any time.

16

The vacuum cleaner is equipped with the “Parksystem”

function.  This  function  allows  to  temporarily  switch  off  the

vacuum cleaner using the fastening hook of the combination

brush without the necessity to use the on/off button. In order

to do so, during operation insert the fastening hook of the

combination  brush  in  the  combination  brush  fastening

(5)

The vacuum cleaner will automatically switch off.

Filter disassembly

Before changing the filters make sure that the vacuum cleaner

is switched off and unplugged from the mains supply.

INLET FILTER

1

 Release  the  front  cover  fastening

(15)

  and  open  the

cover.

2

 Slide the inlet filter

(22)

 from the appliance body.

3

Insert the new filter making sure that the outer edge of

the filter is located to the inside of the limiting rib.

4

 Close the front cover.

HEPA OUTLET FILTER

The  vacuum  cleaners  are  equipped  with  a  HEPA  (High

Efficiency Particulate Air) H11, H13 outlet filter.

E

The filters have a high filtration capacity; they are made of

special fibers which are able to retain almost all dust particles.

The  H11  and  H13  classes  determine  the  permeability  of

a  given  filter:  H11  filter  retains  95.5%  of  particles  with  the

size of 0.3 micron and H13 filter retains as much as 99.95%

of all pollutants.

1

The HEPA outlet air filter needs to be replaced when the

surface of the filter is dirty or the control lamp of the outlet

filter  replacement  indicator  lights  up

(9)

  (pulsing  red  light).

The  suction  power  of  the  vacuum  cleaner  will  reduce  to

setting  1  when  the  outlet  filter  replacement  indicator  lamp

lights up.

2

To replace the HEPA filter lift the vacuum cleaner handle

and open the accessory compartment.

3

 Grab  the  outlet  filter  cover

(8)

  by  the  two  fastenings,

press firmly with the thumbs and pull it to the outside.

4

Remove the HEPA filter case and replace it with a new

one. The HEPA filter ensures an effective operation of the

vacuum cleaner for about 1 year.
Insert the cover so that the two protrusions in the lower part

of  the  cover  are  inserted  in  the  openings  of  the  vacuum

cleaner body, press the filter cover so that the rear fastenings

snap shot on the body.

SAFBAG dust bag disassembly/assembly

1

The  vacuum  cleaner  is  equipped  with  a  safety  valve

which  is  located  in  the  dust  container  (bag)  chamber.  It

opens automatically when the suction hose or the elements

attached to the suction hose are completely clogged or when

the dust bag is overfilled with dust. After the opening of the

valve a characteristic “fluttering” in the vacuum cleaner will

be heard. The opening of the safety valve will result in the

lighting of the dust bag full indicator.

2

When  the  dust  bag  full  indicator

(14)

  lights  (with  the

nozzle or the brush lifted above the cleaned surface) it means

that the bag is full and needs to be replaced. In addition the

dust bag full indicator may activate if the suction hose or the

elements attached to the suction hose are clogged.

3

Switch off the vacuum cleaner by pressing the “on/off”

button

(2)

 and unplug the appliance.

4

Press the two side buttons on the end of the hose and

remove the hose end from the inlet opening of the vacuum

cleaner.

5

 Release  the  front  cover  fastening

(15)

  and  open  the

cover.

6

While holding the dust bag plate, gently bend it towards

the  inside  of  the  dust  container  chamber  and  remove  the

whole dust bag upwards.

7

Insert  the  plate  of  the  new  dust  bag  in  the  tracks  and

slide the plate together with the screen to the bottom of the

container, unfold the dust bag. The direction for inserting the

dust bag is indicated by the arrow on the bag.

8

Close  the  cover  by  pressing  it  until  you  hear

a characteristic click – pay attention not to trap the dust bag.
