...the extractor stopped working:
1. Make sure there are not too many products in the
extractor or the products do not contain too many
hard seeds.
Use the “REV” switch function for 2-3
seconds, and turn it back to “ON” position.
2. If the problem persists, you need to disassemble the
appliance, clean it, and assemble it again.
3. The extractor may have turned off due to working more
than 20 minutes.
How to make a delicious, healthy juice?
The fruits and vegetables used for extracting juice should
●
be fresh and thoroughly washed. To prepare vegetables
you have to rinse any traces of dirt and soil off them with
running water, and then peel their skin off. Literature
on juice-making recommends soaking vegetables for
5 minutes in water with an addition of salt and citric acid.
Vegetables which are prepared in such a way do not
darken after they are sliced, and their juice has a more
natural color to it.
Wash any berries before extracting juice from them, as
●
they go bad really fast.
The choice of products depends on the season, personal
●
preference, and health recommendations. The nutrition
value of a fruit or vegetable juice depends also on the
way it is extracted.
Juices should be prepared from juicy products, which
●
must be ripe and fresh, as they give the largest amount
of juice of great taste and fragrance.
The following vegetables are the most suitable for juice
●
making: tomatoes, carrots, celery, beetroots, parsley,
onions, cabbages, cucumbers, turnips, rhubarb, etc.
For dietary reasons and high taste values juices may be
made from salads, spinach, leek or even fresh herbs or
soya.
Such vegetables as: radish, chive, parsley, cress should
●
be added to the process finely chopped.
Fruit juices can be extracted almost from any kind of
●
fruits.
After rinsing, apples, peaches, apricots, and plums
●
should be scalded in a colander.
Any pips and seeds should be removed from the fruits,
●
as they may damage the appliance.
Extracting juice out of plums, blueberries, raspberries,
●
soft pears and apples or other fruits may be troublesome.
The pulp of these fruits is processed into a spongy mass,
which clogs up the filter. These fruits may be used in
the process by mixing their small amounts with other
fruits and vegetables, but in such a case you have to
remember to clean the filter more often.
Root vegetables and hard fruit should be sliced into
●
pieces which fit into the charging hopper. Apples should
be cut up into pieces (if they do not fit the charging
hopper without cutting) – there is no need to peel their
skin or removing the cores.
The nutrition value of juices is comparable to the values
●
of the extracted products - the unique extracting system
makes the juice full of fiber, enzymes, minerals, and
vitamin C.
Juices are especially recommended in nutrition diets for
●
children and seniors.
It is recommended to wash the juices with small amounts
●
of water, as they are extremely thick. If the juices are not
thinned down, daily consumption should not exceed half
a glass.
You should not combine fruits with vegetables, with the
●
exception of apples. Do not combine melons with other
fruits.
Juices should not be stored for later consumption.
●
You may add seasoning to vegetable juices, such as:
●
pepper, dill, caraway, nutmeg, thyme, marjoram; and
vanilla, cinnamon, and clove to fruit juices. In order to
get the best aroma, grind the seasoning down before
adding it to the juice. Any seasoning should be used in
small amount to preserve the natural taste and scent of
the extracted products. Due to their low calorific values,
fruit and vegetable juices are especially recommended
for people trying to lose weight.
Fruit and vegetable juices may be served at room
●
temperature or chilled with ice cubes.
