Once the configuration of the reflector turret has been completed, replace the cover (Fig. 5/

4

). To do

this, insert it into the dovetail guides on the underside of the Fluar Illuminator Z mot. and push until it
engages. Make sure it has a precise fit, so that the safety contacts are closed.

If reflector modules without automatic component recognition are used, apply the supplied stickers
marked with the fluorescence filter combination used to the fields provided beneath the
corresponding control key (Fig. 6/

1

) and configure as necessary in SYCOP 3.

Inserting or removing the stop slider

The stop slider is supplied in a manual or motorized version.
Both types are inserted in the Fluar Illuminator Z mot. in the same way. However, the procedure for
removal is different.
The mounting bay for the diaphragm slider is located on the left-hand side of the Fluar Illuminator Z mot.

Inserting the stop slider

Remove the blind cover (Fig. 6/

6

)  from the

diaphragm shaft of the Fluar Illuminator Z mot. To

do this, press the two latching nipples (top and
bottom) together in the direction of the arrow

and remove the blind cover.

Insert the slotted cover (Fig. 6/

3

) instead of the

blind cover.  To do this, first insert it into the

recess on the Fluar Illuminator Z mot. with the
latching nipple (Fig. 6/

2

) on the upper side and

press the underside carefully until the lower
latching nipple engages. Exert only slight

pressure to prevent the cover from being
pushed in too far and becoming jammed.

Insert the stop slider  (manual  (Fig. 6/

4

)  or

motorized (Fig. 6/

5

)) into the slit and push it until

it engages. The locking element of the stop slider
will point downwards.
