Loading the reflector turret
The reflector turret has four numbered positions,
each for mounting a Z FL reflector module
equipped with the factory-installed desired filter
sets for fluorescence excitation.
For applications without fluorescence one position
should be left vacant.
Attention:
Risk of blinding!
The access opening to the reflector turret is located
on the right-hand side of the Fluar Illuminator Z mot.
•
Remove the cover (Fig. 5/
4
) of the reflector
turret from the Fluar Illuminator Z mot. towards
the right.
The reflector turret cover is fitted with safety contacts which are immediately interrupted when
the beam to the HXP 200 C is disconnected, if the latter is switched on.
•
Swing the reflector turret into the access opening by turning the manually to the desired position (see
Fig. 5). The position number is marked on the right-hand side of the module mount (Fig. 5/
3
).
•
To install or remove reflector modules (Fig. 5/
5
) proceed as follows.
Installing reflector modules
•
Push the reflector module (slightly tilted towards turret) with holding brackets mounted right and left
(Fig. 5/
7
) beneath the upper retaining clamps (Fig. 5/
2
) of the reflector turret position.
•
Push reflector module downwards until it locks securely into the lower retaining clamps (Fig. 5/
1
) .
Removing reflector modules
•
Reach below the reflector module and push it horizontally out of the locking position of the lower
retaining clamp.
•
Pull the slightly tilted reflector module downwards out of the upper retaining clamps.
Reflector modules with automatic component recognition are equipped with readable (ACR) or
readable/rewritable (ACR RW) Eproms (Fig. 5/
6
) on which the installed fluorescence filter
combination is or can be stored. If a SYCOP is connected to the system, the filter combination
for the equipped reflector turret positions is automatically read and imported into the firmware
as a fluorescence configuration.
