6 Commissioning and operation
Before commissioning, all connections have to be checked again for correct installation.
It must have been made sure that the safety regulations have been complied with. Com-

6.1 Checking the direction of rotation (only 400-V version)
With the 400V version, the direction of rotation of the pump has to be checked prior to
actual commissioning.

Turn on the power on the switch on the part of the
building site.

Screw out the lock screw on top of the pot motor,
EULHÀ\SUHVVWKHEXWWRQ³0DQXDORSHUDWLRQ³DQG
observe the direction of rotation at the pump shaft
when the pumps run out.

If the rotation arrow on the pump matches the
observed direction of rotation, everything is okay.

If the pump rotates the wrong way round, two of
the three phases will have to be interchanged by
the electrician.

After checking the direction of rotation, it is abso-
lutely necessary to screw in the lock screw again
and to tighten it!
6.2 Parameter setting of the control

The lifting unit has been prepared by the factory for using the lateral inlets and the rear
inlet. It is immediately operational. After switching on the mains voltage, the control is
directly in automatic operation.
