Since 1st January 1995 every machine made in countries of European
Community must comply with the regulations of 89/392 CEE, 91/368 CEE, 93/44 CEE
and 93/68 CEE.
To satisfy all the regulations about the safe of the machine, you have to consider
this manual is to be integrated with the instruction book given with the machine.
Here are some important instructions in order to use the machine in safety:
A) MOVEMENT AND TRANSPORT
If you have to move the machine you have to consider the dimension and the
weight of the machine (Ref. page 3 of "technical characteristics") in order to use
the best way to move it.
The best way to move the machine is a "caterpillar" with forks more then 1,0 meter
long.
If you have to move the machine inside the laboratory don't remember to
disconnect hydro, pneumatic and electrical connections.
B) CHANGE OF THE WHEELS
To change the wheels is completely safe: of course you have to disconnect the
machine from electrical line using the sectionalising switch on the electric box.
C) MECHANICAL RISKS
Every moving part of the machine is protected by casing. The only risk that is not
possible to avoid is due to initial part of the track which hold the glass. The operator
must pay attention not to put his hands, clothes (for example ties, necklace and so
on), into the track. If this happens push immediately the emergency button to
stop the machine and adjust the track in order to work a high thickness glass and pull
out what had been held.
D) ELECTRICAL RISKS
There is no electrical risks if you follow exactly the instruction to connect the
machine to the electrical line.
E) THERMIC RISKS
