FV2K, FV4K, AND FSDI
The F SERIES comes in three different options:
•
the FV2K which encodes and streams up to HD video
•
the FV4K which encodes and streams up to 4Kp30 video
•
the FSDI which encodes and streams to an SDI solution
This document contains general information for each of these products as well as specified information on
each of their setups and usages. Please be aware of the precautions especially with the KEL cables, and how
you’ll use them correctly. For more information, please contact your account manager.
NOTE ON FV4K-13A:
The FV4K-13A is similar to the FV2K-13A except for in a few specific ways. The FV4K can encode up to 4Kp30
video while the FV2K is made for encoding 1080p60 video. Also on the FV4K, one of the KEL jacks (J5) is
made for an HDMI camera and a new micro-HDMI jack (J10) was added for its input.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The FVXK/FSDI-13A-RPS is designed for dual camera inspection, surveillance, industrial and UAV
applications. The flexibility of the system allows for a visible camera and an infrared or night vision camera.
The hardware consists of a 2-board set: Encoder and Connector PCB. The system is capable of encoding
multiple channels of H.265 and H.264 video in HD/4K resolutions. The Input board features flexible digital
and analog input ports. The encoder can be configured to stream over IP and simultaneously record to USB
or micro SD card. The FVXK/FSDI-13A-RPS is available with either software preloaded or with an optional
SDK starter kit.
