PEDAL ASSEMBLY
SRAM BRAKE SWAP
a //
Unscrew the brake lever clamps (Torx T25) and
remove the attachments of the brake and shift cables.
b //
Swap the brake levers to have the front brake on
your right and the rear brake on your left side.
c //
Mount the brake levers on your handlebar with
the brake lever clamps. Make sure the clamp and the
break fit neatly into another and to leave no gap (zero
gap).
d //
Make sure the levers are correctly aligned and
tighten them with a torque wrench
(5 – 6 Nm for
aluminum bars; 2,8 – 3,4 Nm for carbon bars).
a //
Attach the pedals to the cranks using an allen wrench.
Apply some grease to the threads to ensure perfect
functioning. Please note that there’s a right and a left
pedal.
b //
The non-drive side pedal has reverse threading and
is therefore tightened counterclockwise. Tighten the
pedals with a torque of 38 Nm.
