Overview of Connecting S2BN4D base plate for ATEX, IECEx, a
nd UKEX
Intrinsic safety (hereinafter I.S.) barriers (*1) of MTL products from Eaton Electric Limited which
can be mounted to the base plate (S2BN4D), comply with I. S. explosion protection standard (*2).
I. S. barriers can be connected to the I. S. device installed in the hazardous area with explosion-
proof wiring as shown in the following figures.
