Connecting the Probe
User’s manual section 3.4, “Connecting the Probe”
User’s manual section 3.5, “Compensating the Probe (Phase Correction)”
Connect a probe to the DL9000’s measurement input terminal (CH1).
Connect the tip of the probe to the probe compensation signal output terminal on the front panel of the DL9000.
Connect the probe’s ground wire to the functional grounding terminal.

Before connecting the probe, you must read the warnings in the user’s manual listed in
section 3.5, “Compensating the Probe (Phase Correction).”
• When actually making waveform observations using the probe, you must follow the procedures in the user’s manual for probe
phase correction (section 3.5), and calibration (section 4.8). Failure to use the probe correctly will result in incorrect waveforms.
