and a prompt message (including a voice mail icon) appears on the LCD screen. This is
cleared only when you retrieve all voice mails or delete them.
For some particular servers, the MWI service is unsolicited. So the VP530 IP video phone
just need to handle the MWI messages sent from the server. But for some servers, the
MWI service is solicited. In this case, the VP530 IP video phone must enable the MWI
Subscription for MWI messages.

The MWI Subscription parameters you need to know:

Subscribe for MWI
Enable or disable a subscription for MWI service.
MWI Subscription Period
Period of MWI subscription. The IP video phone
re-sends a MWI subscription before expiring.
To enable MWI subscription via web user interface:
1.
Click on Account->Advanced.
2.
Select the desired account from the pull-down list of Account.
3.
Select Enabled from the pull-down list of Subscribe For MWI.
4.
Enter the period time (in seconds) in the MWI Subscription Period (0~84600)
(seconds) field.
5.
Click Confirm to accept the change.
MWI service is not available on all servers. Contact your system administrator for more
information
