REMOVING THE HANDLEBAR
1. Stand the scooter on a level surface.

Securely support the scooter so that there
is no danger of it falling over.
2. Remove:

handlebar switch assembly (right)

8
throttle grip assembly

8
brake master cylinder assembly

NOTE:
While removing the handlebar switch assembly
(right), pull back the rubber cover.
3. Remove:

handlebar grip
1
NOTE:
Blow compressed air between the handlebar and
the handlebar grip, and gradually push the grip
off the handlebar.

CHECKING THE HANDLEBAR
1. Stand the scooter on a level surface.

Securely support the scooter so that there
is no danger of it falling over.
2. Check:

handlebar

Bends/cracks/damage

Replace.
w
Do not attempt to straighten a bent
handlebar as this may dangerously weaken
it.
