INSTALLING THE  FRONT WHEEL

1. Lubricate:

wheel axle

8

wheel bearings

8

oil seal lips

Recommended lubricant

Lithium-soap-based grease

2. Install:

speedometer gear unit 

1

NOTE:

Make sure the speedometer gear unit and the
wheel hub are installed with the two projections

2

meshed into the two slots

3

 respectively.

3. Install:

8

front wheel 

1

NOTE:

Make sure the slot

2

 in the speedometer gear

unit fits over the stopper 

3

on the outer tube.

4. Tighten:

8

wheel axle

70 Nm (7.0 m • kg, 50.6 ft • lb)

Before tightening the wheel axle nut, push
down hard on the handlebar several times
and check if the front fork rebounds
smoothly.

5. Install:

brake caliper

8

brake caliper bolts 

2

35 Nm (3.5 m • kg, 25.3 ft • lb)

Make sure the brake hose is routed properly.
