3. While keeping the “MODE” button

pressed,
turn the starting switch to “ON”.
4. Press the “UP” button

and select “CO” to
change the “CO” or “DIAG” mode to diagnostic
mode.
5. After selecting “CO”, set the “MODE” button

6. Note that “C1” will be indicated on the display,
then press the “MODE” button

7. Start the engine.
ADJUSTING THE EXHAUST GAS VOLUME
1. Set the starting switch to “OFF” and the “engine
stop” switch to “ON”.
2. Disconnect the “self-diagnostic” signal terminal

and connect the injection diagnostic terminal
2
.
Be sure to set the CO density level to standard,
and then adjust the exhaust gas volume.

Carry out the adjustments after being sure that
the battery is fully charged.
To adjust the exhaust gas volume, it is
necessary:
•
Gas analyzer;
•
Use forced vent addressed to the vehicle
engine when starting the engine.
