OIL PUMP (500)
Air bleeding

The oil pump and oil delivery line must be
bled on the following occasions:

When any portion of the oil system has
been disconnected.

When the machine has been turned on its
side.

Whenever the oil tank has been run empty.

During pre-delivery.

1. Fill:

Oil tank 

1

Oil tank capacity:

3.0 L (2.6 lmp qt, 3.2 US qt)

Recommended oil:

YAMALUBE 2-cycle oil or
equivalent

2. Place a rag under the oil pump assembly to

soak up any spilled oil.

3. Disconnect:

Oil hose

4. keep the oil running out until air bubbles dis-

appear from the oil hose.

5. Connect:

oil hose

6. Disconnect:

Oil delivery hose

7. Feed the “YAMALUBE2–cycle oil” into the oil

delivery hose using an oil for complete air
bleeding.

8. Connect:

Oil delivery hose

9. Remove:

Bleed screw 

1

Gasket (bleed screw)

10. Let the oil run out until all of the air bubbles

disappear from the bleed hole.

11. Inspect:

Gasket (bleed screw)
Damage / wear 

 Replace.

12. Install:

Gasket (bleed screw)
