5. Wire harness continuity.
• Disconnect the rear wheel sensor coupler “1”, ABS ECU coupler “2” and ECU coupler “3”.
• Open circuit check
Is the coupler condition normal?
YES
→
Go to step 5.
NO
a. Connect the coupler securely or replace the wire harness.
b. Execute the diagnostic mode. (Code 07)
c. Rotate the rear wheel by hand and check that the indicated value increases.
Is that value increased?
YES
→
Go to step 21.
NO
→
Go to step 5.
Between rear wheel sensor coupler “1” and
ABS ECU coupler “2” black–black
white–white
Between ABS ECU coupler “2” and ECU cou-
pler “3”
white/yellow–white/yellow

Go to “Short circuit check”.
NO
a. Replace the wire harness.
b. Execute the diagnostic mode. (Code 07)
c. Rotate the rear wheel by hand and check that the indicated value increases.
Is that value increased?
YES

Go to step 21.
NO
→
Go to “Short circuit check”.
