Select USB from the Port Settings
drop down menu ( Figure 4-4 ); and
write a name in the
Connection
Name box (e.g. SeaGuardII). We
recommend using product name
and serial number if you want to
connect multiple instruments to the
same software.
The new connection is now shown
in the AADI Real-Time Collector
connection list. Click on the line with
the new connection to highlight the
line and then click on the Open
Port
button. The connection to the
SeaGuardII/SmartGuard should be
established within a few seconds
and the status turn to green. After
power up it will take approximately
30 seconds before the logger is
ready.
Open
Control Panel
in the lower
right corner ( refer Figure 4-6 ).
