Table 3-16 lists the connector pin assignments for the parallel port at J3. I n addition to the pins of
connector J3, Table 3-16 also lists the corresponding pins for the DB25F parallel connector cable
supplied with the unit. T h e pinout of J3 is such that it allows the use of a flat ribbon cable between J3
and a PC/AT compatible DB25F parallel connector.

Beyond the choice of I/O base address and interrupt described in the previous sections, there is only
one jumper that affects the parallel port at J3. This
is
W20, which controls whether the parallel port
will function as a standard PC/AT printer port (output only) or as a bidirectional data port.
