Replacing the Bias
Transfer Roller
The bias transfer roller is used for transferring toner onto
paper. To replace the bias transfer roller with a new one,
follow the steps listed below.
To avoid electric shock, be sure to power off and
unplug the printer before beginning this procedure.

Power off the printer and disconnect the power cord.

Open the top cover.

Lift out the laser print cartridge.
To prevent toner stains, place the cartridge on a
surface covered with old scrap paper or the like.
