IV. INSTALLATION
1.
Position the
GO-E2
's Gear Motor 7-feet from the inside edge of the inner rail.
If you have purchased the Beam Mount Assembly (BMA), secure a W-Beam
with at least a 6” width (W8 x 24) to the floor, 7-feet from the inside edge of
the inner rail. See
Figure 1
.

If you did not purchase the BMA, the Gear Motor to a base with enough
rigidity to prevent torsional or lateral vibratory flexure caused by dynamic
loading. The mounting surface should be flat, and clean, so stresses are not
induced during the mounting of the Gear Motor to its foundation.

The W-Beam should run parallel to the rails, along its entire length. The
GO-E2
will slide along this beam so the length is determined by your specific
application.
The W-Beam must be secured to the floor. If
not properly bolted the W-Beam and the
GO-E2 could topple over.
