Replacing The Blade
DANGER!
Always shut off the resaw motor before
changing the blade. Failure to do so may result in serious
injury.
WARNING!
Always wear gloves and eye protection
whenever handling bandsaw blades. Changing blades is
safest when done by one person! Keep all other persons
away from work area when changing blades. Failure to do
so may result in serious injury.
Raise the blade housing cover. Turn the blade tension handle to release the blade tension
until the wheel is pulled in and the blade is lying loose in the blade housing. Lift the blade
out of the blade housing.
Install a new blade around the two blade wheels so that the teeth located between the
blade guide assemblies point to the drive side of the machine. Make sure the teeth are
pointing the correct direction.
Position 1 1/4” wide blades on the wheels so the gullet is 3.0 mm (± 1.0 mm) out from the
front edge of the wheel.
