1.6 Understanding the LED signals
The data concentrator has 16 LEDs to assign the
device’s
current status, communication,
physical connection.
These LEDs are located in four groups:
-
Operation status LEDs (
Group
A
)
o
PWR
–
Power source connected / mains on
o
ON
–
The device has been started
o
SUPERCAPACITOR
CHARGE
(in case of exhausted supercapacitor it shows the
recharge)
-
Connectivity LEDs (
Group
B
)
o
MBUS
activity (on terminal block, MBus pins)
o
RS485
connection and activity (on on terminal block, RS485 pins)
o
WAN
–
wireless network connection and access
o
USBLAN
connection (on microUSB port)
o
KERNEL
–
for sign possible failures, stand-by mode
-
cellular network signal strength indication LEDs (
Group
C
)
o
signal 1
to
signal 4
: wireless signal reception (higher is better)
-
LAN (Ethernet) connectivity LEDs (
Group
D
)
o
LAN1
port to
LAN4
(by the detected the RJ45 port connection)
The power indication group (group
A
) and signal level leds (
group C
) are is fixed, but the other 9
LEDs (
group B
and
group D
) are free to reonfigurable.
