1 INDICATOR

Speed are displayed in km/h, kts and mph units, altitude in m (meter) or ft units
depending on the presetting by the operator.
A direct comparison of readings between the WINTER IPK09 PITOT-STATIK-TESTER
and the unit under test without any conversion calculations are therefore possible.

2 ON / OFF-SWITCH

The On-Off-Switch activates/deactivates the pumps for pressure and vacuum and also
the indicator. The pumps are switched off automatically when the battery charging
cable is connected.

3 + 4  VACUUM AND PRESSURE PUMP SWITCHES

Two switches are provided to energize/deenergize the pumps independendly.

5 BATTERY CHARGING CONDITION

A LED indicator shows the state of charge of the internal battery.

6 CHARGING SOCKET

A quick disconnect socket is provided for the charging cable of the automatic battery
charger. The cable can remain connected also when the testers cover is closed.

7 TEST PORT

Connector for the hose between tester and unit under test or
aircraft. Roll up tool for the PVC tube in cover integrated (optional).

8 CONTROL VALVE

Needle valve to control system pressure or vacuum. Turning the valve counterclockwise
increases the pressure or vacuum. Turning the valve clockwise to an internal stop
isolates the unit under test from the tester to take readings or to perform leak tests.

9 + 10 PRESSURE VALVE – VACUUM VALVE

Valves to select pressure or vacuum and pre selection of flowrate. Especially rate of
climb during altimeter tests.

11 RELIEFVALVE

Valve to relief pressure or vacuum and to control the rate of descent during
altimeter tests.
