3.5.1 Burner pot
WARNING
Do not open the combustion chamber door during operation. Always turn off the
boiler with the ON/OFF button and wait until burnout mode has finished. It is es-
sential to let the combustion chamber cool down before cleaning.
WARNING
Before cleaning with a vacuum cleaner, ensure that any embers in the combustion
residue are fully extinguished!
WARNING
Avoid violently shaking the burner pot - the glow plug ignition element is located in
the primary air tube. There is a risk of breakage!
INFORMATION
Before inserting the primary air pin (4), vacuum the primary air tube in the middle
of the burner pot again. Ensure no debris is in the tube (debris can damage the
ignition element!).

After cleaning, the cleaning notification setting for the combustion chamber and
the burner pot must be reset on the InfoWIN
PLUS
– see chapter 2.8.1.1.
– Turn off the BioWIN XL with the ON/OFF button on the InfoWIN
PLUS
(Fig. 117) and wait until the display has gone
out.
– Open the cladding door on the right. To do this, turn the key a quarter turn to the left to unlock the door – Fig. 118.

– Check the down chute and if necessary clean with the cleaning tool – Fig. 119.
– Lift out the cone [2, 3] and ash wedge [4, with BioWIN XL 350 NA only] – Fig. 120–Fig. 123.
– Remove deposits from these parts with a cleaning brush or spatula. The secondary air holes in the cone must
be clear, clean them with a small screwdriver or drill bit if necessary.
– Vacuum out the burner pot, remove the primary air pin [1] and carefully clean the holes with a small
screwdriver or drill bit if necessary (holes must be clear).
