3.7 Vacuum ash chamber under coasting surfaces
The ash chamber is automatically checked and cleaned as part of the annual maintenance by Windhager
Customer Service or the customer service partner.
– Turn off the BioWIN XL with the ON/OFF button on the InfoWIN
PLUS
(Fig. 132) and wait until the display has gone
out.
– Unscrew the cladding cover on the right side panel (4 screws), remove the insulation and release the cover
from the boiler wall (by removing the 4 nuts). Remove cover and vacuum out ash chamber – Fig. 133.
Assembly:
Complete the previous steps in reverse order, or:
– Insert fan box.
– Mount the fan unit.
Important
: Tighten the wing nuts in a diagonal pattern so the fan cover creates a strong seal.
– Connect the fan plug.
– Insert the cladding cover at rear into fastener.
WARNING
Chimney, flue pipe, and draft inducer (if applicable) must be clean and in good
condition!

3.8 Cleaning exhaust pipe to flue
Check the exhaust pipe to the flue for dirt and clean at least once a year.
