Batteries:
1. open the battery compartment (

screws. now, insert the battery pack size m / mignon / AA
(nimH 1.2 V). mind the correct polarity.
2. close the battery compartment by attaching its 4 screws.
make sure the cover is properly closed.
Attention! Important information about batteries:
Remove the batteries in case you don’t want to use the device
for a while. leaking batteries can permanently damage the de-
vice. Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed
of with domestic waste! As a user, you are obligated by law to
drop of batteries at your municipality’s/district’s collection
centre or a retailer to make sure they are disposed of in an
environmentally friendly way.

operating instruction render the warranty void. The manu-

GENERAL INFORMATION
Disposing of packing material:

goes in the waste paper bin, foil in the recyclable
materials collection bin.

nations that run systems for the separate collection
of recyclable materials): old appliances must not be
disposed of with domestic waste. Should the device
no longer be operational, the user is obligated by law
to drop of old appliances – separated from domestic waste
– at their municipality’s/district’s collection centre or the like.
This ensures proper recycling of old appliances and prevents
negative impact on the environment. This is why electrical appli-
ances are marked with this symbol.
