Open the front cover (1) by grasping the cover on each side at the bottom
and swing up.

Pinch in tabs (2) of the old ribbon cassette and pull to remove it.

Continue to “Installing a new ribbon cassette” step 2.
In stal ling a new rib bon cas set te
n
Open the front cover (1) by grasping the cover on each side at the bottom
and swing up.

Unwrap the new ribbon cassette and tighten the ribbon by turning the
knob (3) on the cassette in the direction of the arrow.
DO NOT remove the mylar shield.
n
Position the ribbon cassette onto the carriage, as shown (4), making sure
the ribbon is underneath the printhead.
n
Snap the cassette into place and snap the front cover closed.
