Acoustic warnings, status LEDs, security
switches, safe door switches

1 Status display

All status messages can be output with acoustic warnings.

A red and a green LED are provided for displaying the status that are
controlled by the master controller. The display of the green and red LEDs can
be interpreted together as an error code. The LEDs are connected in such a
way that they become illuminated by default after each reset and must be
switched off through the firmware.

During the development period, a pair of LEDs is connected to each of the two
slave microcontrollers for purposes of simpler error analysis.
